Val Cenis is a major place of skiing in Haute Maurienne (Savoy), it combines traditions and cultural heritage with winter sports. The small “Les Essarts” apartment hotel (30 apartments on 3 floors) is situated in the centre, only 50m from the main ski slopes. You will be staying in nicely decorated, spacious and well equipped apartments (TV, microwave-oven, dishwasher...). Besides, this traditional mountain-style hotel enjoys great hours of sunshine. It is located in a quiet dead-end street close to all amenities. The historic centre ( St Sébastien & St Roch Chapels, St Etienne Church) is just 200m away. It is very easy to get back to the hotel from the slopes (blue and green slopes), ideal for children and beginners. Others will go to the “Vieux Moulin” cable car only 3 minutes on skis.
