The traditional, friendly village of Valmorel is nestled against the mountains, in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley. This resort blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings. It offers a ski area for skiers of all levels, marked-out trails for walkers and paths for snowshoeing. The apartment hotel is set up like a hamlet around the centre of the resort, close to the slopes and the ski lifts. It was built in typical Savoyard style and all the apartments have a balcony (apart from ground floor apartments that have direct access to the outside). The heart of Valmorel is a lively pedestrian-only area.
