The Ski resort is located in the Puy de Dome in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes, Super Besse is at 1300 m altitude, the ski area rises to 1840m, it covers various Puys like the Puy de Sancy, Le Puys Ferrand and the Puy de la Perdrix.
