Valberg is a tourist resort both for its winter activities and its summer recreation. This family resort is expanding in the Southern Alps, the Massif Mont Mounier (north) to Drome de Barrot (South ). The urbanized portion is located mainly on the Péone area.
The ski area covers three communes of Guilaume Péone and Beuil in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. The station, which runs Valberg is connected with Beuil, it has no less than 90 km of ski slopes. Its elevation starts at 1500 m and rises to 2066 m (the peak of Raton). Approximately 90% of the ski area has snow cannons. The ski area has 53 trails and 22 lifts. Valberg is equipped with electronic card packages.
Moreover, snowshoers as cross country skiing and ski touring have adapted circuits where they can travel free parts of the vast ski area at their disposal.
